Small Silver Pointed Teardrop Cactus Necklace
Jewelry made from the desert
Each cactus piece is handmade using a lost wax casting process.
- I choose section of dried prickly pear cactus fiber (yep, the dried cellulose from inside the cactus).
- I make a mold of that piece of cactus fiber, then pour silver or gold into the mold.
- The result is a solid metal copy of the cactus fiber, which I then made into a unique piece of jewelry.

artisan made
Hi, I'm Clare, owner and maker of Lila Clare Jewelry. I make each piece of jewelry from the actual dried fibrous skeleton of the prickly pear cactus, resulting in artisan jewelry made in and from the southwestern desert. I have been making these unique jewelry pieces from the cactus skeleton since 2010.

Purchased as a graduation gift. The recipient loved it! The necklace is so unique and looks stunning in Gold vermil. This is not the first piece I've purchased from Clare, and it won't be the last.
J - I'm so glad the grad loves her necklace! :)
This is the perfect size pendant for me. The smaller sized necklace is great for casual, everyday wear. So unique!
Thank you Misty! I'm so glad you love the necklace. I hope you do wear it everyday!!
Beautiful necklace, light and goes with everything. I wear it every day.
